This Advanced Hands-on Assist Training, with Valery and Nush, focuses on the potential of touch and giving and receiving assists. This training is for you if you want to gain confidence in assisting your students. Moreover, we will take a closer look on progressive postures.
An essential part of the training will be Zen Thai–inspired bodywork (Level 1). Zen Thai Shiatsu is a technique, that blends Thai yoga massage, Osteopathy and Chinese Medicine. A holistic approach to touch that allows us to gain more understanding on how to assist, not only with our hands, but with deep awareness.
This will allow us to dive deeper into the world of touch and gain a greater understanding of how we touch someone, not only with our hands, but with deep awareness.

Nush and Valery have been Yoga Teachers for the past 6+ years and been training with Gywn Williams, the founder of Zen Thai Shiatsu in the past 3 years. We believe that Zen Thai has a great impact on our teaching and assisting style and that's why we can not wait to share these two passions.
You can expect Zen Thai inspired bodywork, two Vinyasa classes, and lots of time to practice hands-on assists.
It’s ideal for anyone who has done a yoga teacher training.
